To build, support and enhance quality assurance in education across the Arab countries by:
- Providing quality reviews and accreditation services to educational institutions 
- Promoting harmonization of quality policies and standards at the regional level 
- Advocating on the importance of quality and accreditation amongst decision makers and stakeholders

To raise awareness among Arab educational institutions on accreditation and quality assurance by:
- Collaborating with Arab and renowned accreditation agencies for training and capacity building to introduce internal accreditation/ quality assurance standards and criteria. 
- Supporting institutions in enforcing standards and quality procedures 
- Promoting the exchange of expertise and best practices amongst education administrative personnel in the region

To collaborate and cooperate with Arab and international accreditation bodies to facilitate benchmarking and sharing of expertise by:
- Increasing the availability and accessibility of quality and accreditation resources 
- Facilitating exchange of knowledge and expertise and transfer processes 
- Strengthening international and regional partnerships and encouraging exchange of practices and experiences at all levels

To disseminate information about academic excellence in educational institutions in the Arab world by: 
- Introducing a culture of excellence in learning/ teaching, resources and research 
- Organizing, in collaboration with Ministries of education, awareness sessions, marketing campaigns, and show case models across the Arab countries   
- Developing and maintaining online web portal of resources, material, expert discussion groups (forums), and support information for excellence in education 
- Promoting communities in educational excellence across the Arab educational institutions

To provide quality assurance audit and accreditation services to Arab educational institutions by:
- Collaborating with international partners – FIBA, ASIIN, ABET and others – to provide accreditation services for and quality audit of academic programs and degrees.

To facilitate establishing a ranking system for educational institutions in the Arab region by: 
- Collaborating with education ministries to set up guidelines for ranking 
- Publishing periodically rankings of educational institutions at the local and regional levels

To promote and facilitate educational quality research by:
- Developing seed funds for quality research in education 
- Awarding an annual prize for the best research paper in education quality 
- Setting up a peer-reviewed “International Journal on Quality Assurance in Education”, with an international editorial board
