AROQA is managed by a Board of Directors and a Board of Trustees whose memberships include academics, senior executives and experts in various fields of knowledge. The Board of Directors is chaired and presided over by Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, the founder of AROQA. His Excellency H.E Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, is the Honorary President and Dr. Saleh Hashem, former Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, is the Vice President.

The Board of Directors is entitled to take all and any decisions to ensure good operations of the Organization, including the creation and the composition of a Board of Trustees, Accreditation Board, Consulting Committees and ad hoc working parties.
